The Saints have just over a week until they are back under the Wembley arch
Southampton FC have been the story of 2026 so far in the Championship, coming from out of nowhere to be standing a chance of immediately returning to the Premier League under Tonda Eckert.
No side in the second tier have taken more points than the German's since New Year's Day, and they remained on the charge in their most recent match - backing up a remarkable 5-1 rout over Wrexham with a crucial comeback victory over Derby County at St Mary's.
As such, many believe that now they have climbed to fifth, there is still an outside chance of the South Coast side pipping Ipswich Town to automatic promotion, with the second-to-last match of Saints' season coming against the Tractor Boys at Portman Road.
Before that encounter specifically, too, the Championship side will be hoping to cause another giant-killing in the FA Cup, having made their way to the semi-final stage of the historic competition for the first time in five years.
It is also 50 years since the club won the FA Cup for the only time in their history, beating Manchester United in the final at the Old Wembley back in 1976, when they were also playing their league football in the second tier.
So far, Eckert's men have put all of Doncaster Rovers, Leicester City, Fulham and even Premier League leaders, Arsenal, to the sword to set up a mouth-watering clash with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, which will take place on Saturday, April 25th.
With that in mind, Football League World have looked at how many tickets Saints supporters have been allocated in comparison to those from Manchester, who are back at Wembley for a second time in a month after their EFL Cup final triumph against the Gunners.

After basking in the glory of their shock victory over Arsenal on April 4th and a crucial league success over the Red Dragons the following Tuesday, Saints supporters saw their ticket details for the encounter in North London confirmed on Friday, April 10th.
It has been revealed that those from Hampshire will occupy the west end of Wembley Stadium for this match, and that there will be a sell-out of 33,350 tickets in this particular part of the ground if all tickets are to be snapped up as expected.
Tickets are on sale from 9:30AM on Tuesday, April 14th, with season-ticket holders, unsurprisingly, the first in line to secure their seats, with the cheapest adult price coming in at £30, whilst a 'Premium Level 2' ticket could set a supporter back £150.
Saints fans are also at the same end of the stadium which they were allocated for their last trip to Wembley, where they defeated Leeds United 1-0 in the Championship play-off final in May 2024.
They also have the same end as Coventry City supporters did a month beforehand, with the Sky Blues the last Championship side to reach this stage of the competition before losing on penalties to Manchester United.

This is the Citizens' 23rd visit to the national stadium for a cup fixture under Guardiola, highlighting the dominance they have enjoyed under his management, albeit they lost last season's FA Cup final to Crystal Palace.
As much as Saints will be eager to upset the odds, the Spaniard's side will still fancy their chances of a domestic treble at this moment in time, having already won the EFL Cup, whilst there is still the possibility of them leapfrogging Arsenal in the Premier League table.
Those from the North West have also been allocated 33,350 tickets in the east end, meaning it should make for a carnival atmosphere under the arch.
The last Championship side to feature in an FA Cup final were Cardiff City in 2008, whilst no side from outside the top-flight has won the trophy since 1980, when West Ham United defeated Arsenal.
Whoever emerges victorious from this encounter will face one of Chelsea or Leeds United in the final on May 16th, although Southampton could be back the following week in a potential play-off final.
