Championship clubs are vying to sign experienced Sheffield Wednesday defender Max Lowe, formerly of Sheffield United
Sheffield Wednesday are set to make plenty of key decisions in the summer transfer market following the arrival of David Storch's ownership group.
Experienced defender Max Lowe is among the Owls stars whose futures remain undecided ahead of next season, following their relegation to League One.
The 28-year-old was a key man for Henrik Pedersen's men this term, making 28 Championship appearances and featuring for the full duration of last Saturday's 2-1 triumph over West Bromwich Albion.
Wednesday earned just two victories in the second tier this season, epitomising the hardship they endured under former owner Dejphon Chansiri and throughout their spell in administration.

The Owls' relegation to League One, having been docked 18 points, was confirmed in February when they were beaten by cross-city rivals Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, the South Yorkshire club's extremely testing financial circumstances had left Pedersen with a lack of squad depth and quality, which was reflected in their poor Championship results throughout the campaign.
Now that Storch has got his takeover across the line, though, Wednesday can now turn their attention to building a squad that could be capable of landing an immediate Championship return.
The EFL have confirmed that the Owls will not be deducted 15 points next season, even though Storch's bid fell below the amount needed to pay creditors 25p in the pound, meaning the South Yorkshire outfit can begin looking up, rather than worrying about the prospect of a further relegation to League Two.
Amid Chansiri's woeful ownership, Wednesday lost several key players last summer, including Josh Windass and Djeidi Gassama, who joined Wrexham and Rangers, respectively.
Storch and Co will be fully focused on acquiring new players ahead of next season, but the Arise consortium will also be aware that further departures could be on the cards.
As reported by the Sheffield Star, Lowe is open to staying at Hillsborough Stadium despite the Owls' relegation to League One, while there is a group of Championship clubs vying for the former Sheffield United man's signature.
The Star add that Wednesday are also keen on retaining the defender by handing him a fresh contract ahead of next season.

Wednesday have to oversee a significant rebuild this summer, to ensure that they are competitive in League One next season, having suffered a whopping 32 defeats from their 46 Championship fixtures this term.
The Owls know that they have to invest in all areas of their squad this summer, especially in terms of adding more depth to their ranks.
Furthermore, following the years of neglect overseen by Chansiri, Storch has to improve the infrastructure at Wednesday, including Hillsborough Stadium and the Middlewood Road training ground.
Meanwhile, the news that Lowe is open to staying in S6 is positive for the South Yorkshire outfit, as the defender should be a real asset for them in League One.
He has earned bags of Championship experience thanks to his time with Wednesday, fierce rivals Sheffield United, and the likes of Nottingham Forest and Derby County.
Consequently, the former England youth international should be able to excel in League One, while he previously represented Shrewsbury Town in the third tier.
