Football League World takes a look at Derby County's left-back estimated weekly wages as Celtic and Rangers show an interest in the defender.
Derry Murkin has played just eight games for Derby County in the Championship since moving to the East Midlands from Dutch side FC Utrecht in the January transfer window, but he has already made quite the impact.
The left-back has been a crucial part of John Eustace's team in recent weeks, and he has provided three assists for his teammates already. He set up Rhian Brewster for the Rams in their 1-0 win over Birmingham City at the weekend, with both Murkin and Brewster joking at James Beadle's expense on social media after.
Now, with just seven games to go, his team are well within a chance of the play-offs, and if the East Midlands outfit are to make it into the top six before the season comes to an end, then they will need the 26-year-old to continue his impressive run of form.
However, Derby may find that their hold on Murkin could be weakened in the summer, with both Rangers and Celtic interested in the defender, according to a report from FootballFanCast, and Football League World has taken a look at how much he may be earning at Pride Park.
The Rams signed the Colchester-born full-back for just £1.7m on deadline day in the winter transfer window, and after spending the last 22 years of his life on the continent, he has returned to England extremely well.

Murkin has European experience, having played in the Europa League on several occasions, and therefore it may not come as a surprise to Derby supporters to see that he has one of the highest wage packages at Pride Park this season.
According to Capology's estimates, the 26-year-old earns £20,000-a-week in the Championship for the Rams, with a further £5,000-a-week touted by the website's calculations.
Murkin signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Derby when he left Utrecht for England's second tier last month, and he will play a key part in helping the club push for promotion to the Premier League in the coming months and years under Eustace.
Attacking full-backs are incredibly common in modern football, and the Rams' new number two is proof of just how vital they can be, having already registered three assists inside his opening eight appearances for his club.
However, it must be said that Murkin is also incredibly adept defensively, and after 13 years, Derby have finally found their long-term replacement for Craig Forsyth - a player who has locked down the left-back position for well over a decade.

The 26-year-old has pace in abundance, and he plays football without fear, something that Eustace loves. With Callum Elder injured, this has been a key time for the ex-Schalke man to step up, and he has done really well in such a short space of time.
The future is incredibly bright for Murkin at Derby, and the Rams will be keen to ensure that he does not depart for Celtic and Rangers in the summer transfer window.
