An insight into the financial details of the offer tabled by La Liga giants Real Madrid for Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has this evening been forthcoming.

The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course returned to the fore across the media headlines in Spain late on Tuesday.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that Real Madrid have seen an offer for the England international knocked back by Liverpool.

Los Blancos have long earmarked TAA as a leading transfer target, ahead of the expiration of his contract at Anfield in the summer of 2025.

To date, all rumours surrounding as much have been based on a free agent swoop on the part of the Spanish champions.

In turn, it came as something of a surprise when word was forthcoming today that Real had tabled a cash offer for Alexander-Arnold for January.

And now, as alluded to above, an insight into the details of as much has followed.

As per a report from Diario AS:

‘The offer was worth around €15M and the answer [from Liverpool] has been blunt: no.’

It now remains to be seen if Florentino Pérez and co. deem it worthwhile to return with an improved bid, or simply focus on securing a pre-contract agreement with the right-back for the summer.
