Recent form

After a strong start to the campaign, Huddersfield have faltered recently, drawing 0-0 with Burton Albion on Saturday and losing to Bradford the week before.

City drew 1-1 with Arsenal on Sunday and are unbeaten in the last three in all competitions.

What’s been said?

Huddersfield boss Lee Grant: “You have to prepare like you’re going to have significantly less of the ball and be humble enough to accept that, and that you’re going to have to work so extremely hard knowing their star quality could find a way to undo you at any point, while still remaining positive on your own goals and aims for that fixture.

“They are tough to plan for because they’re so good and the technical level is so high. The understanding of the system and the level of execution in moments is frightening, but it’s one you have to relish and be excited about.”

Man City head coach Pep Guardiola on his plans to rotate: “I know what it means to play against a championship or League One team, especially away.

“My only concern is to rest energy for the players who spend these three weeks (playing) for Saturday against Burnley. That is my only concern.”
