This match is a big late-season MLS Western Conference game with playoff implications: Austin is in 7th place (10–9–8, 38 pts) trying to lock up a playoff spot, and SKC is 13th (7–15–6, 27 pts) but mathematically alive after a 4–2 comeback win over Colorado that snapped a losing streak.
Austin has scored 14 goals in their last six games and will be without several internationals, so they’ll be tested, and SKC will look to in-form striker Dejan Joveljić (16 goals, 3rd in MLS Golden Boot race) to spark a late push.
