An insight into the potential knock-on effect of La Liga giants Barcelona’s deal for Karim Adeyemi on their ongoing pursuit of Julián Alvarez has been forthcoming online.

Those of a Blaugrana persuasion, though, need not fret.

This comes amid the assurance that those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou remain fully committed to bringing Alvarez in before the summer is out.

Deco and co. are of course fresh off adding to Hansi Flick’s attacking ranks for the 2nd time this summer on Friday.

With a deal for Anthony Gordon long in the bag, the Spanish champions tied up an accord with Borussia Dortmund, to land winger Karim Adeyemi.

With space in the frontline in Barca’s squad quickly filling up, it had in turn been suggested that their efforts to sign Julián Alvarez from Atlético Madrid could be brought to an end.

If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, however, then this will seemingly not be the case…
