Super agent Ali Barat has hinted Bayern Munich are prepared to discuss signing Nicolas Jackson even if the obligation to buy isn’t triggered.
Jackson completed a loan move to Bayern on deadline day, despite Chelsea trying to cancel the deal after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury, which will keep him sidelined until November.
Chelsea got the obligation to buy they wanted in the deal, despite an option initially being agreed, although it appears it could be difficult to trigger.
Jackson reportedly has to make 40 starts for the German champions in order for the obligation to be triggered, which would take some doing.
The 24-year-old made his Bayern debut last weekend, and came on as a late substitute against Chelsea in their 3-1 win in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Jackson will spend this season at Bayern Munich.
Jackson is set to be a squad player at Bayern and will likely play second fiddle to Harry Kane and Luis Diaz, but Barat has hinted he could still join the Bundesliga outfit even if the obligation isn’t triggered.
“If Nico performs well, in today’s market, when you see what strikers are going for, I hope that £56m for Nico would provide good value for everyone,” he said as quoted by Mail Sport.
Jackson slipped down the pecking order following the arrival of both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, and it will be interesting to see how he does at Bayern.
Regardless of what happens with Jackson, Chelsea have seemingly signed his replacement in Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha.

Chelsea announced the signing of Emegha on a pre agreement earlier this month, and the 22-year-old is set to join next summer.
Emegha scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 for Strasbourg last season, and is already club captain despite his age, and Chelsea fans will likely be keeping a close eye on him across this campaign.
