FC Barcelona got a memorable 5-3 win over Real Betis in their last La Liga game, with Ferran Torres scoring a hat-trick to ensure his team remained at the top of the league table.
In addition to Torres, two other players who got on the scoresheet for the Blaugrana team were Roony Bardghji and Lamine Yamal, with the latter getting a goal from the penalty spot.
For the Swede, this was his first goal in a Barcelona shirt, and thus, this would naturally have been a memorable night for him.
As Mundo Deportivo has reported, he also talked to the media after this game, and expressed his happiness with the chance to start the game and help his team:
“I was coming from a period in which I hadn’t played much, and I’m grateful for these minutes. I’m very happy with the win. I hope to get more minutes and be able to help the team.”
Regarding his goal, he admitted that this was a rather easy goal for him, and gave credit to Pedri for setting him up:
“I had to be in the right spot. I saw that Pedri had the ball, and I just had to shoot if he passed it to me.”
With this goal, Roony Bardghji will be driven even more to prove himself at Barcelona, and hopefully, he will continue getting the opportunities to do so in the coming months, as he has already shown that he can help the team.
