Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has revealed what he said to his players ahead of them absolutely destroying Noah last night.
The team they beat were only formed in 2017 and nobody had really even heard of them. They play in the Armenian top division and are currently fourth in that league.
Chelsea were always going to win comfortably, but they were also able to go on a big stat-padding mission, scoring 8 goals as players managed to add to their goals and assists stats for the season so far.
Players like Joao Felix were having an absolute field day and just had way too much quality for the very poor opposition they were facing. I think Noah actually ended up setting most of our goals up themselves with the amount of awful mistakes they made.
But Chelsea were professional, Chelsea turned up, and they had a job to do, which they did very well. These types of games can sometimes be an unpredictable banana skin, but there was never any danger of complacency shown by Chelsea who turned up to win, and win big.

The Blues boss was asked after the game in his post-match press conference what pleased him the most about the win.
And in words cited by Football London, he responded:
“I think the players, once again, showed how professional and serious they are. It’s very easy to sleep, or fall down, in these kind of games. Football is full of surprise.
“I said to them before the game to show how serious we are, how professional. I think they showed that and it’s an important message for all of us.
“We have to be serious. It’s never easy, as I said before: football is full of surprise. If you are not ready mentally, if you do not take it seriously, you can drop against any team.
“The most important thing is that we are serious, we are professional. This is the right thing we needed to show tonight.”
