Strasbourg are set to sign Famalicao’s Ibrahima Ba, the Senegalese centre-back reuniting with former coach Hugo Oliveira.
The 21-year-old missed training on Thursday morning and is already in Alsace for a medical. The Portuguese press reports a €15m fee before add-ons.

Standing 1.91 m, Ba had attracted interest from Benfica, but he was keen to work again with Oliveira, who recommended him to the club’s hierarchy.
It would be a significant outlay for Strasbourg, who were recently fined by UEFA.
Ba would become the latest arrival of a busy window after Piekutowski, Sousa, Brantlind and Del Blanco.
