Ibrahima Konate has predicted a successful future for Liverpool in a potential hint about his future.

Konate's current contract is set to expire at the end of the campaign with no agreement reached on an extension.

The France international will be free to leave as a free agent in July, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich among the teams linked.

However, the 26-year-old has outlined his belief that Liverpool will bounce back from their disappointing campaign.

Arne Slot's side have struggled during thePremier League campaign. The champions are currently fifth in the Premier League table and 21 points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

Despite that, Konate has predicted a successful future for the side. Asked about the Reds' performance in 2025-26, Konate boldly claimed that 'people will forget' their transitional campaign 'when' Liverpool win major trophies again.

"We bring new players, we will adapt, we will try to understand each other and at a point, with time, we will win a trophy," he toldESPN.

“We will have success and when we win the Premier League or Champions League, people will forget every bad season we had because now we won the league last season.

“This is just part of the success and we have to be relaxed because we have amazing fans, we have to stay together, and the success will come for sure”.
