Igor Vinicius and Rony return as Santos name squad for Deportivo Cuenca | OneFootball

Santos have named a 23-man group, with returns for Igor Vinicius and Rony, for the Copa Sudamericana opener at Deportivo Cuenca on Wednesday at 19:00 at Alejandro Serrano Aguilar, according to Diario Do Peixe.

Santos will be without five players. Mayke is recovering after a PRP procedure with corticosteroid in the knee, Gabriel Menino is sidelined by a right hamstring injury, Miguelito has muscle fatigue, Neymar is under load management, and Gabigol is recovering from a PRP procedure for right adductor tendinopathy.

Igor Vinicius has overcome a minor oedema in the right quadriceps. Rony returns after serving a suspension for a third yellow card against Flamengo in the Brasileiro.

The list comprises three goalkeepers, four centre-backs, three full-backs, seven midfielders and six forwards.

Goalkeepers: Diógenes, Falcão and Brazão.

Centre-backs: Zé Ivaldo, Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres and Adonis Frías.

Full-backs: Igor Vinicius, Escobar and Rafa Gonzaga.

Midfielders: Schmidt, Zé Rafael, Arão, Oliva, Rollheiser, Gustavo Henrique and Bontempo.

Forwards: Robinho Jr, Rony, Thaciano, Lautaro Díaz, Moisés and Barreal.
