Omari Kellyman has taken to social media to let Chelsea fans know he’s delighted to have signed for the club, and is ready to get going.

Chelsea signed Kellyman from Aston Villa for £19m, and the 18-year-old follows in the footsteps of Carney Chukwuemeka in swapping Villa Park for Stamford Bridge.

Kellyman is an exciting attacking talent, who made his Premier League debut under Unai Emery last season, having joined Villa two years ago from Derby County.

By signing the teenager, Chelsea have continued their recruitment policy of signing what they believe to be the best young talents from around Europe.

Whilst a decision on whether Kellyman will go out on loan is unlikely to be taken until after pre-season he will have the chance to impress Maresca on the club’s tour of America.

Players who haven’t been on international duty have started to filter back to Cobham this week, with pre-season training set to start on July 8th.
