Last night saw the official nominees for the Men’s 2024 Ballon d’Or award, and even though Chelsea had such an up and down season, there is one Chelsea player who made the final nominees!

Last season was inconsistent at best for Chelsea, but there was some decent individual performances and one standout player.

That player was Cole Palmer, who very much took the league by storm and shocked many with his debut season at Chelsea – truly becoming the talisman at the club. Without Palmer, Chelsea would not have finished the season anywhere near as high as they did.

As you can see above, Palmer is on the list of 30 nominees for this year’s Ballon d’Or, and you can only say that it is fully deserved to see his name up there with some of the rest of the best players around the globe right now.
