Inter Miami have issued an injury update on Leo Messi following the match against Philadelphia Union.
The club said in a statement that their captain left the pitch on Sunday 24 May due to physical discomfort.

After medical tests on Monday, the initial diagnosis was an overload linked to muscle fatigue in his left hamstring.
His return to physical activity will depend on his clinical and functional progress.
The club’s update was presented by Baptist Health.
