Inter Coppa Italia win means top seven in Serie A qualify for Europe

Inter’s Coppa Italia triumph reshapes Serie A’s European places for next season, sending fifth and sixth to the Europa League and seventh to the Conference League.

Football Italia points out that the cup winners normally take a Europa League berth, but with Inter already bound for the Champions League, the allocations shift accordingly.

The change is particularly significant for Atalanta, who appear almost certain to finish seventh and therefore secure UEFA competition.
