Inter Miami name Guillermo Hoyos backroom team

Inter Miami have named head coach Guillermo Hoyos' backroom team for the first team.
The club said in a statement that assistants Rafael Pérez and Rodrigo Vargas will work alongside him, with Diter Alquiza as goalkeeper coach, Sebastián Fabres as strength and conditioning coach, and Javier Zerpa as analyst.
Hoyos has assumed first-team duties for the upcoming matches. A former professional with more than 20 years as a player, he has coached in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Bolivia, Greece and Cyprus, including a spell in charge of Bolivia's national team. He has also worked in youth development at Barcelona, and since joining Inter Miami has overseen the club’s professional pathway while serving as sporting director.
Assistant Rafael Pérez continues a long association with Hoyos, having served on his staffs at Anorthosis Famagusta, Bolivar, Talleres de Cordoba, the Bolivian national team, Universidad de Chile and Aldosivi.
Rodrigo Vargas arrives as assistant after a successful playing career in Bolivia. The former forward featured for The Strongest, Wilstermann and Bolivar.
Goalkeeper coach Diter Alquiza joins after 12 years working with Hoyos. His coaching stints include the Bolivian national team, Oriente Petrolero, Universidad de Chile, Talleres, Aldosivi and Atlas.
Strength and conditioning coach Sebastián Fabres has spent 15 years alongside Hoyos. His previous posts include work with Bolivia’s national team, Oriente Petrolero, Atlas, Universidad de Chile, Talleres and Aldosivi.
Analyst Javier Zerpa reunites with Hoyos after collaborations at Bolivia’s national team, Universidad de Chile, Oriente Petrolero and Atlas.
