Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski believes the Nerazzurri have the quality to go all the way in the Champions League after beating Slavia Prague.

Speaking to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Zielinski hailed Inter’s strength, insisting they can win multiple trophies this season.

Cristian Chivu maintained his perfect managerial record in Europe’s most prestigious competition.

“Repeating last season? We have the quality to go far in every competition, Zielinski was adamant.

“We’ll try, we want to win something. It won’t be easy to be among the protagonists, but the foundations are there.

“I’ll do everything to reach the top,” the Polish midfielder concluded.

Zielinski only accumulated 54 minutes of football in all competitions this season.

Indeed, he came on against Ajax for the last ten minutes, while Chivu used him for only 44 minutes in Serie A,

Given Inter’s brutal fixture schedule, the Polish star can expect more opportunities to come by.

One such may arrive already this weekend, when the Nerazzurri face off against Cremonese at San Siro.

However, it’s hard to expect Chivu to bench Barella in two consecutive games.
