As has already been established, Marc Guehi is set to be a man in demand in the transfer market next summer.
The defender’s contract with Crystal Palace expires at the end of the season, and he will leave the club as a free agent, leading to widespread interest.
Barcelona, for one, have shown an interest in signing the England international as they look to fill the void left by Inigo Martinez’s exit last summer.
However, competition for Guehi’s signing is already intense, as the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool are all gunning for his transfer, and now another European giant has entered the race.
Indeed, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t AS), Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are also interested in signing Marc Guehi as a free agent in 2026.
Both Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij are well into their thirties and have contracts that expire at the end of the season.

Manuel Akanji’s loan stint will also come to an end, leaving open slots in the defensive unit. As such, the Nerazzurri wish to reinforce their backline and have identified Guehi as a target.
At 25 years old, with proven pedigree in the Premier League, the England international would be a solid addition for any team he signs.
Barcelona, for one, could certainly use someone like Guehi, especially with Andreas Christensen also likely to depart in the summer, when his contract expires.
Signing a centre-back for free would also leave room for the Catalans to invest heavily in a new centre-forward.
But, with competition for Guehi’s services growing by the day, it remains to be seen whether Barcelona make a move or look for other options.
