Inter Milan boast the most valuable squad in Serie A with a combined market value of €743 million, and while Como have recorded the biggest overall growth this season, the Nerazzurri’s rise of €50 million places them second.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, Como lead the growth charts having surged by €60 million since September, from €268 million to €328 million.
The Argentine’s valuation has leapt from €48 million to €74 million this season.
The figures underline why Inter are so determined to sign the Argentine.
Indeed, he was purchased from Real Madrid for just €6 million in 2024 with a buy-back clause of €10 million this year or €11 million in 2027.
Inter’s squad value, meanwhile, is built on a core of world-class talent.
Lautaro Martinez leads the valuations at €79 million, followed by Bastoni at €77 million.
Then, Barella is valued at €70 million and Thuram at €68 million.
President Marotta’s stated ambition of reaching a combined squad value of €1 billion no longer looks far-fetched.
The most remarkable individual rise, however, belongs to Pio Esposito.
The young striker has seen his market value triple from €17 million to €51 million in a single season.
Indeed, it is a jump that reflects the impact of his breakthrough campaign.
And, finally, it confirms he is already regarded as one of the most exciting young forwards in European football.
