Inter Milan could rival Como and make a move for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer.
Chalobah is attracting transfer interest from Italy with ambitious Como keen to sign the England defender. Como secured Champions League qualification after finishing fourth in Serie A, reaching European competition for the first time.
Como coach Cesc Fabregas is plotting a raid on his old side for Chalobah, though Gazzetta dello Sport claim Inter could rival that interest.
The Italian champions want to bring in a central defender this summer, with Udinese’s Oumar Solet on their wish-list. Should a move for Solet fail to materialise, Chalobah is considered as an alternative.
Chelsea are plotting an overhaul at centre-back with Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Mamadou Sarr, and Chalobah all linked with moves away.
Head coach Xabi Alonso wants to sign at least one new central defender, amid a move for Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix.
The sale of Chalobah, who came through the academy, would help free funds for business as a ‘pure profit’ sale on the club’s books. The 26-year-old is valued at around £26m.
