The future of Inter Milan target Gianluigi Donnarumma at PSG remains an open question, with contract talks not yet resolved.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They note that at the moment, the Italian international’s contract expires at the end of June 2026.
It is no secret that Inter Milan are dreaming of a potential move for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Nerazzurri can currently rely on Yann Sommer in goal. The former Bayern Munich keeper has been outstanding for Inter this season, particularly in the Champions League.
However, Sommer will turn 37 next season. Therefore, he is hardly part of Inter’s longer-term plans.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri are considering potential successors for the Swiss.

Inter have Josep Martinez waiting in the wings. The Nerazzurri signed the Spaniard from Genoa last summer, earmarking him as the long-term replacement for Sommer.
However, there is no guarantee that Martinez will actually end up taking the place of Sommer as the starter.
And in the meantime, a potentially hugely enticing alternative has emerged.
Gianluigi Donnarumma has been grabbing the headlines just as much as Sommer as with his performances in the Champions League this season.
The former AC Milan keeper is 26 years of age, meanwhile. Therefore, he should easily have a decade ahead of him at the highest level.
And Donnarumma’s current contract with PSG runs out at the end of June 2026.
That could make the Italian international a massive free transfer opportunity next summer. Inter are certainly no secret to deals of this nature.
Therefore, Inter are keeping a close eye on Donnarumma’s situation. Everything will come down to whether or not the 26-year-old signs a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain.
