Inter Milan will have to offload striker Mehdi Taremi if they are to sign Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have identified Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund as a top target in attack this summer.
The Nerazzurri are already right on the verge of a deal for Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. However, they are not going to stop with the Frenchman.
Hojlund is a player Inter continue to rate highly in spite of two underwhelming seasons with United. And at 22 years old, he is well within their age profile.

Inter Milan will only be able to sign Hojlund if there is room in their squad, however.
And in that respect, one player in particular looks to be standing in the way.
Iranian international Mehdi Taremi joined Inter on a free transfer just twelve months ago. However, he had an underwhelming debut campaign at the club, scoring an abysmal three goals.
Therefore, Inter would hardly be against the idea of parting ways with Taremi after just one season.
And signing a player ten year Taremi’s junior would certainly fit in with the Nerazzurri’s more youth-focused project.
However, offloading Taremi could prove to be easier said than done.
Therefore, Inter will look around for suitors for the 32-year-old over the next few weeks.
