Inter Milan are playing to put pressure on Napoli and give themselves peace of mind ahead of Bayern Munich against Parma.
Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, highlight what a win at the Stadio Ennio Tardini would mean to the Nerazzurri.
Inter Milan will hardly be taking three points for granted against Parma this evening.
However, on paper, the Nerazzurri are certainly the favourites to win.
And should Inter get the expected result against the newly-promoted side, there would be a couple major boosts for them.

First of all, Inter Milan will feel that they have a golden chance to put the screws to Napoli psychologically.
The Partenopei do not play until Monday. They have their own match in Emilia-Romagna, against Bologna.
And if Inter win this evening. Napoli will face more than 48 hours knowing that Inter are, at least temporarily, six points ahead of them.
Moreover, Napoli face high-flying Bologna. On paper, the Champions League hopefuls will be a much tougher outing than Inter’s in Parma.
Then, Inter would love to head into the first leg of their Champions League tie against Bayern Munich knowing that their lead at the top of the Serie A table is secure.
