Inter Milan will hand coach Simone Inzaghi a new contract with a significant pay raise with or without trophies this season.

This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They report that the Nerazzurri will extend the coach’s deal until the end of June 2027. He could earn as much as €7 million net per season.

Simone Inzaghi is now coming to the end of his fourth season as Inter Milan coach.

The 49-year-old has had his ups and downs since joining the Nerazzurri.

But broadly speaking, the club are extremely happy with the job that Inzaghi has done.

Inter have won trophies in each of the three previous seasons that Inzaghi has been at the club.

However, the team have yet to write the finale of the ongoing season. They bombed out of the Coppa Italia to city rivals AC Milan – but have the Serie A title and Champions League to fight for.

According to the Gazzetta, behind the scenes Inter are extremely happy with the job that Inzaghi has done this season.

And that is the case even if the Nerazzurri fail to finish the season with any silverware.

The last couple of matches have been big disappointments. However, these do not change Inter’s overall assessment.

Therefore, reports the Gazzetta, Inter remain as keen as ever to tie down Inzaghi’s future.

The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri will offer Inzaghi a new contract until the end of June 2027.

And there will be a pay raise for the former Lazio coach. With or without the title or the Champions League. Inter could offer as much as €7 million net per season.

Reportedly, Al-Hilal have offered Inzaghi a massive money deal. However, the Inter coach turned down the Saudi club.
