San Siro forms the backdrop for a high-stakes Serie A showdown between eternal rivals Inter and AC Milan tonight.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the two sides will trade tackles in front of a sold-out stadium.
Inter Milan headed into the November international break as joint Serie A pacesetters after beating Lazio 2-0 at home last time out.
Meanwhile, AC Milan slumped to a 2-2 draw at Parma on the eve of the break, falling two points behind Inter and Roma.
Therefore, tonight’s clash has all the makings of a top-of-the-table six-pointer.

Tonight’s fixture will reportedly pour a substantial €8 million into Inter’s coffers, which is a new revenue record in Serie A.
Furthermore, around 30 broadcasters across 200 different countries will cover one of the most iconic fixtures in European football.
As ever, numerous club icons are expected to be in the stands this evening as Cristian Chivu prepares for his touchline debut in the Milan derby.
