Inter Milan is set to face Como in the second leg of the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night at the San Siro.
After their goalless draw in the first leg of the semi-final, Inter Milan will look to secure their spot in the final as they are chasing the domestic double for the season.
Inter Milan go into this Coppa Italia second leg with a few selection doubts. Lautaro Martinez is still sidelined, as he has been working separately while recovering from a calf problem.
Yann Bisseck has only just returned to group training after a muscle injury; Alessandro Bastoni is also being managed carefully because of an ankle issue.
Petar Sucic is available again after a suspension and could feature in the midfield.
Cristian Chivu is expected to rotate again, but Inter still have plenty of attacking threats through Marcus Thuram, who is in strong form and has scored four goals in his last three appearances for the team.
Maxime Perrone and Alex Valle are likely to come back into the first team after being rested.
Como will miss Jayden Addai through injury and will be without Sergi Roberto as well. The back line will feature Ivan Smolčić, Iván Ramón, Marc Oliver Kempf and Valle.
Tasos Douvikas is expected to return to the starting eleven, giving Como a more natural focal point up front, though Fàbregas could also push Nico Paz into a false‑nine role behind a deeper creator.
Inter Milan is in imperious form, currently leading Serie A by 12 points. Following a brief winless blip, the Nerazzurri have won three consecutive league matches, scoring at least three goals in each. Their recent results include a commanding 3-0 victory over Cagliari and a thrilling 4-3 comeback win away at Como. At home, they have been particularly dominant, netting eight goals in their last two outings.
Como’s form has dipped recently after an impressive eight-match unbeaten run earlier this year. They have suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time since December, losing 2-1 to Sassuolo and 4-3 to Inter. Despite this, they remain competitive in fifth place in Serie A. In the Coppa Italia, they secured a resilient 0-0 draw in the first leg of this semi-final and have won seven of their last ten away matches.
Inter Milan: Sommer; Bisseck, Akanji, Augusto; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Dimarco; Thuram, Esposito
Como: Butez; Smolcic, Ramon, Kempf, Valle; Perrone, Da Cunha; Vojvoda, Paz, Baturina; Douvikas
