The crisis at Fiorentina continues to deepen as the club sits alone at the bottom of the Serie A table, and the fallout is starting to impact the squad’s future. One of the primary names expected to leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window is Brazilian wing-back Dodo, whose long-running contract renewal saga has reached a stalemate.
According to a report from TMW, Fiorentina’s stance on the player has softened significantly due to their precarious league position. While the club previously held out for much higher figures in past windows, they are now reportedly willing to listen to offers starting at €15 million—effectively half of his previous valuation.
This drop in price has alerted Inter, who are closely monitoring the situation. The Nerazzurri are currently in the market for a new addition on the right flank, particularly as they look for reliable alternatives and potential successors to Denzel Dumfries. With Dodo’s contract set to expire in 2027 and no breakthrough in negotiations at the Viola Park, a move to the San Siro could become a concrete possibility in the coming weeks.
