Multiple sources in Italy claim that Inter are determined to sell Juventus target Davide Frattesi in the January transfer window, but only on a permanent deal.

Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia claim that the Nerazzurri have changed their stance on the ex-Sassuolo star, who was not up for sale last summer, but is now free to leave if he finds a club willing to pay at least €30m.

Tuttosport reported last week that the midfielder’s agent, Beppe Riso, had met Juventus and both Gazzetta and Sky confirm that the Bianconeri are interested in the 26-year-old.

Riso is also the agent of Newcastle star Sandro Tonali and according to Gazzetta, the Magpies are still monitoring Frattesi after last summer.

The Inter midfielder, however, would rather remain in Serie A to sidestep an adaptation period abroad, particularly with the World Cup approaching.

Inter only want to sell Frattesi on a permanent €30m deal and it’s unlikely that any Italian club will offer that fee next month.

Gazzetta confirms that Inter would be open to discussing a swap deal with Juventus involving Khephren Thuram, but Football Italia understands that the Bianconeri don’t want to part ways with the Frenchman.
