Piotr Zielinski is reportedly the leading candidate to start in the Inter midfield in Sunday’s Serie A showdown against AC Milan.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Cristian Chivu considers the 31-year-old as a better fit than Petar Sucic.

Last season was disappointing for Piotr Zielinski as he struggled to adapt to Simone Inzaghi’s tactics in his first year at San Siro.

However, the Polish superstar has returned to form under Chivu, showing flashes of his brilliance on several occasions this season.
