Many Juventus Men's First Team players have been in action this weekend with their national teams, with 2026 World Cup Qualifiers being played, as well as friendlies around the world.

TWO GOALS FOR YILDIZ, ITALY BEAT ESTONIA

The star of the evening's international fixtures was undoubtedly Kenan Yildiz, who scored twice in the space of a few minutes in Turkiye's away win against Bulgaria. For the first, he received the ball in the box and found the time and space to turn and place the ball to the left of the Bulgarian goalkeeper. For the second, he easily dribbled past a couple of opponents and curled the ball into the same corner with an unstoppable shot.

In the end, Turkiye won 6-1 in Bulgaria, with Yildiz scoring his first brace for the national team.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso's Italy also enjoyed an away win, beating Estonia 3-1 at home and maintaining second place in Group I of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Andrea Cambiaso came on in the last half hour of the second half, replacing Riccardo Orsolini to bring liveliness and quality to the wing in attack.

SUCCESS FOR PORTUGAL, SERBIA LOSE TO ALBANIA

Francisco Conceicao remained on the bench in Portugal's 1-0 home win against Ireland. It was a more complicated match than expected for the hosts, with Cristiano Ronaldo even missing a penalty before they found the winning goal in the 91st minute thanks to a header from Ruben Neves - a close friend of Diogo Jota and the player who chose to inherit and wear his number 21 shirt, on an evening full of emotion for the Portuguese.

It was a heavy defeat for Dusan Vlahovic and Filip Kostic's Serbia, who lost a Balkan derby against Albania 1-0 at home, thus slipping to third place in Group K. Both Juventus players played the full 90 minutes of the match.
