Ipswich Town have announced the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Kayne van Oevelen on a five-year deal.
The shot-stopper began his youth career at Amsterdamsche FC before making the move to FC Volendam where he broke through to become the club's number one. After two seasons as a first team regular, Van Oevelen has now made the move to the Premier League to join the Tractor Boys.
"As soon as I knew Ipswich were interested, it was a move I knew I wanted to make," the 22-year-old on joining the club.
"I’m excited to be here and continue my career in England and learn from everyone at a big club like Ipswich. It’s an exciting time for the club, being back in the Premier League, and I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting started."
Van Oevelen becomes Ipswich's fourth senior signing of the summer window with the club also linked with a move for Celtic's Daizen Maeda.
