Beth Mead is Arsenal’s all-time top goalscorer and assist provider
Beth Mead could be on her way out of Arsenal this summer after eight years at the club.
The London City Lionesses have reportedly made a formal offer for the 30-year-old who could be tempted across the city should a big enough offer come.
There is a lot of speculation as to where Beth Mead will play her football next season.
The experienced Lioness and WSL star has played for Arsenal since 2017, making 225 appearances for the club.
In eight years with the side Mead has netted 78 times for the Gunners winning a whole myriad of trophies.
With 70 league goals the Arsenal star ranks third amongst the Women’s Super League all-time top goalscorers.
Should she leave this summer, Mead’s final game as an Arsenal player would be their Champions League final win against Barcelona.
During her time in North London the forward has also won one WSL title and three League Cups.
Mead has also shown her worth on the international stage, having won back-to-back European Championships with the Lionesses.
England are 3/1 second favourites to win Euro 2029 with betting websites.
As the league’s top assist provider with 48, Mead is one of the most dangerous forwards in England.
While she is considered to be one of the most important parts of the Arsenal squad, the club has made transfers this summer that suggest she could depart the club.
Chloe Kelly made her move to Arsenal from Manchester City permanent in the transfer window.
The Gunners also broke the bank with the world’s first-ever £1million transfer for Liverpool striker Olivia Smith.
With two new exciting forwards joining the club, Mead may be allowed to leave Arsenal for the right price.
Arsenal kick off their season against the London City Lionesses on the 6th of September and Mead could yet be playing for either team on the opening day.
