Colombia and Portugal battle for top spot in Group K as the World Cup knockout rounds near in North America.

The clash in Miami is a group decider, with the South American side unbeaten so far and Roberto Martinez’s men two points behind after thrashing Uzbekistan in their last outing.

That encounter featured a welcome return to goalscoring form for Cristiano Ronaldo, with the much-maligned forward striking twice as he features at a sixth tournament.

Can Colombia hold he and the rest of a talented team at bay to continue an impressive tournament and progress as group winners?

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is Colombia vs Portugal?

Colombia vs Portugal is due to kick off at 12.30am BST in the early hours of Sunday 28 June at the Miami Stadium. It will kick off simultaneously with the clash between DR Congo and Uzbekistan, the other final-round fixture in Group K.

How can I watch it?

Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the match live on BBC One, with coverage from 12.05am BST. A live stream will be available via the BBC iPlayer.

What are the Group K permutations?

For Colombia and Portugal, the equation is relatively simple. Portugal must win to progress as group winners; Colombia will top Group K if they avoid defeat.

DR Congo and Uzbekistan must win to have a hope of progressing. The African side would be assured of doing so, with three more points taking them to four overall and guaranteeing a spot as one of the eight best third-placed finishers. They could even overhaul Portugal, though will require a goal difference swing of at least six.

Colombia’s Luis Suarez was forced off in his last outing but should be fit to start in what could be an unchanged Colombia XI.

Portugal were able to welcome back Ruben Dias defensively against Uzbekistan, and should have a settled look with Cristiano Ronaldo again leading a talented front six.

Colombia XI: Vargas; Munoz, Sanchez, Lucumi, Mojica; Puerta, Arias, Lerma; J Rodriguez, L Suarez, Diaz.
