Brighton, meanwhile, are appearing in the final for the first time having come from 2-0 down in their semi-final against Liverpool to reach the Wembley showpiece.

Could an upset be on the cards? A shock 3-2 league success in April will raise Brighton’s hopes of getting their hands on the trophy.

Here’s everything you need to know.

The Women’s FA Cup final is due to kick off at 3pm BST on Sunday 31 May at Wembley Stadium.

Viewers in the United Kingdom have a choice of broadcasters for the final, with Channel 4 providing free-to-air coverage from 2.15pm BST and TNT Sports’ commencing their coverage 15 minutes sooner. Live streams will be available via the Channel 4 website or HBO Max.

Brighton are not thought to have any fresh injury concerns. Fran Kirby is likely to play a key role as she seeks a sixth FA Cup success – the creative midfielder won the tournament five times while at Chelsea.

Laura Wienroither and Iman Beney have been ruled out for Manchester City, but Lauren Hemp is fit to feature after returning to full training this week.

Brighton XI: Nnadozie; Olislagers, Minami, Vanegas, Hayes; Symonds, Cankovic; Kirby, Rule, Seike; Haley.
