According to L'Équipe, Strasbourg captain Ismaël Doukouré should be rested for the visit of Paris FC in Ligue 1 on Sunday, the 26th round, kick-off 15:00. Midfielder Mathis Amougou is ruled out with a neck problem.
Doukouré was booked and hampered by muscle discomfort. He was withdrawn at half-time of the Europa Conference League round of 16 first leg at HNK Rijeka on Thursday, which finished 2-1.
Although he is feeling better, coach Gary O'Neil is expected to rest his captain with Thursday's return at La Meinau in mind. Guéla Doué will be suspended for that match, and O'Neil is likely to rest several players on Sunday.
Amougou blocked his neck during the warm-up in Croatia and appears to be suffering from a stiff neck, so he misses the Parisians' visit.
In better news for Racing, fellow midfielder Maxi Oyedele, who was ill earlier in the week, is available again.
