Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez isn’t off the hook yet after facing accusations of blasphemy after a 1-0 loss at Juventus.
According to Il Messaggero via Goal, the Italian FA investigators have launched an investigation to determine El Toro’s fate.
Lautaro Martinez was seemingly annoyed after the final whistle at the Allianz Stadium.
Indeed, Juventus narrowly edged Inter in the latest Derby d’Italia edition, damaging their Scudetto chances.
The result didn’t go down well with the Argentina international.
For context, Lautaro Martinez allegedly said something blasphemous after the loss – something strictly forbidden.
The FIGC Prosecutor’s Office is searching for an audio recording to remove all doubts.
If the Football Association finds him guilty, the Inter superstar could face a two-match ban in Serie A.

Indeed, blasphemy has already led to the suspension of players and coaches in the past.
Therefore, Simone Inzaghi could be at risk of losing his standout performer for a couple of games in the crunch period.
However, El Toro will be available for Saturday’s away clash against Napoli.
