A big Italian side are apparently ‘closely following’ Enzo Maresca’s matches in a view to bring him as their manager soon.

Maresca obviously appears pretty settled at Chelsea right now and there are no rumours to suggest he is looking to leave nor is there anything to suggest that Chelsea are looking to move him on anytime soon.

But in football, you can never say never, and things can often change and move fast. However, for now, Juventus are just watching Maresca for the future, allegedly.

Reliable Italian journalist Matteo Moretto has been speaking on this situation this week and some of the info has been relayed on X.

Moretto on Maresca

His words were cited by Juventus Extra off his latest YouTube video, and Moretto says:

“Juventus is closely following Maresca’s Chelsea matches. Juventus highly values Enzo Maresca’s coaching skills.

“There’s talk of a future option.

“Igor Tudor remains under daily observation.”

Tudor under observation?

If Tudor is under daily observation then this would suggest that they could be looking to make a managerial change sooner rather than later and if they do like Maresca, they could be looking to make an approach pretty soon rather than as a future option.

Could be one to watch perhaps but I still don’t personally see Maresca wanting to depart Chelsea at this point anyway. Last season perhaps when the chips were down and Chelsea went through a very bad period over Christmas and into the weeks afterwards. But Maresca has just won two trophies, got Chelsea back in the Champions League, and things seem to be going well at least looking from the outside in.

But who knows what goes on behind closed doors and maybe he would be appealed by a return to his home country.
