Fabio Cannavaro is backing midfielder Petar Sucic to be a success at Inter Milan and in Serie A.
The Dinamo Zagreb coach and legendary former Italian international had words of praise for Sucic while speaking to Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan will bring in midfielder Petar Sucic at the end of this season.
The Croatian international has already undergone his medicals on the move and signed his contract.
Sucic will remain a Dinamo Zagreb player for the remainder of the current season. However, in June he will link up with the Nerazzurri squad.
Inter plan to bring Sucic to the Club World Cup in the United States.
The 22-year-old will get his first chance to show what he is capable of in an Inter shirt.
Then, next season the young Croatian midfielder will be hoping that he can really start to make an impact for the Nerazzurri.
Of course, fitting in at a club of Inter Milan’s stature will not be easy for a player of Sucic’s age.
However, the Croat’s current coach at Dinamo Zagreb is a player who knows a thing or two about succeeding in Serie A, in the form of former defender Fabio Cannavaro.

And the 2006 World Cup winner is backing Petar Sucic.
Cannavaro said that Sucic “has potential, that’s certain.”
“Just yesterday, I was speaking with Inter President Marotta,” he went on. “He’s very happy with the arrival of Sucic.”
Cannavaro said that Sucic “has everything.”
“But of course, when you come to a league like the Premier League or Sere A, you need time to adapt.”
But Cannavaro believes Sucic “has the potential to improve even more.”
“He can play in Italy without any problems.”
