Ivan Martín extends his contract with Girona FC until 2028 | OneFootball

Girona FC is pleased to announce the contract extension of player Ivan Martín, who has renewed his commitment to the Club for two more seasons, until June 2028. This renewal reflects the Club's confidence in the talent and dedication of Ivan Martín, a player who has shown great progression and commitment since his arrival.

Ivan Martín, 25, is a key player in Míchel Sánchez's tactical scheme, standing out both for his versatility in attack and his vision. The versatile midfielder from Bilbao has made 12 appearances this season and has scored one goal. In total, he has 97 appearances as a Red and Whites' player, with 9 goals and 9 assists, being protagonist of the promotion to the First Division in 2022 and of the historic qualification for the Champions League.

Trained in the youth ranks of Villarreal, he has played for Mirandés and Deportivo Alavés, before arriving at Girona FC in January 2022, where he has established himself as one of the most outstanding players in the attacking midfield position.

Ivan Martín is known for his ability on the ball, his excellent control in tight spaces and a great distribution ability, which allows him to create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates. In addition, his mastery of defence-attack transitions and his speed in his runs make him an unpredictable and dynamic player on the pitch.
