Jacuipense will host their Copa do Brasil fifth phase second leg against Palmeiras at Estádio do Café in Londrina. According to Globo.com, the decision was taken on Friday after the club assessed venues inside and outside Bahia.

The Riachão do Jacuípe side cannot use their municipal ground, Eliel Martins, known as Valfredão, which is undergoing refurbishment. They are staging their 2026 home matches at Pituaçu in Salvador, which is also set for renovation in April.

In the capital, Barradão was, per Jacuipense, not released by Vitória, while the Casa de Apostas Arena Fonte Nova was viewed as financially unviable to operate.

Faced with those hurdles, the club considered moving the tie to another state and received proposals from Mané Garrincha in Brasília, Arena das Dunas in Natal and Estádio do Café.

They chose Londrina due to its proximity to São Paulo and Palmeiras’ established connection with the venue and fanbase. Palmeiras have played there in similar circumstances in recent years, including against Juazeirense in the 2022 competition.

The club expects a strong crowd and healthy revenue, factors that proved decisive. The dates are yet to be confirmed, with both legs set for the weeks of 22 April and 13 May.
