Jaka Bijol says Daniel Farke deserves major credit for Leeds United’s resilience this season, as well as for helping him through a slow start to Premier League life.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke has spent two seasons dismantling the notion that Leeds collapse when the pressure rises. He delivered 100 points and the Championship title last term, then guided a safe Premier League finish after a strong run at the business end.

There have been stirring turnarounds, for example from two down against Liverpool and from behind at Spurs away, and most recently a last-gasp winner on Sunday despite several absentees. Such moments, Bijol feels, have defined the group.

He says he has never sensed a team coming apart, highlighting resilience, improved away form late on and a belief they are formidable at Elland Road. He describes performances in front of home fans as amazing.

Bijol believes the campaign was a collective effort but gives special credit to Farke for leading the team. A summer 2025 signing, he admits his start was not ideal, so he worked to integrate and build consistency. The manager’s switch to a back three created his opening, and he has since become a key performer.
