Reds have been linked with moves for Premier League duo
Jamie Carragher has called for Liverpool to sign a new left-back amid links with moves for Premier League pair Milos Kerkez and Antonee Robinson.
Arne Slot’s side are sitting top of the Premier League and Champions League tables even despite a relatively quiet summer transfer window.
Federico Chiesa was the only player signed for this season and the Italian international has barely featured as he looks to build up his fitness.
The Reds are flying this season but will perhaps need to rebuild next summer. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have all entered the final six months of their contracts, albeit there is still a chance all three could stay.
Real Madrid, however, appear to be adopting an aggressive approach in trying to sign Alexander-Arnold, having already seen an offer rejected by the Anfield giants.

Slot has rotated at options at left-back this season. Andy Robertson, surely a modern day legend on Merseyside, has struggled to look quite as convincing this time around.
Though Greek international Kostas Tsimikas is an option already in the squad, Bournemouth’s Kerkez and Fulham’s Robinson have both been linked with moves to Liverpool after brilliant seasons.
Speaking on Sky Sports during coverage of Sunday’s 2-2 with Manchester United, Carragher said: “I just think Andy Robertson, who is an absolute legend, is just hanging on in every game. I don’t think Konstantinos Tsimikas is quite of the standard to come in and replace him.
"I think if Liverpool could get a left-back in January, I think that’d put Liverpool in a really strong position to win the league."
