Jaume Domènech begins player-representation role with Wasserman in Valencia | OneFootball

Jaume Domènech, the goalkeeper in Valencia’s 2019 Copa del Rey win, has announced a new challenge, joining Wasserman’s Valencia office to represent footballers, the agency that handled his career, led by agent Fede Marco.

According to Superdeporte, he retired last season and, despite not playing, was one of the captains who helped unite the dressing room in the fight to avoid relegation after a chaotic first half.

He made 122 official appearances across 10 seasons for Valencia. His final outings came in the 23/24 Liga under Rubén Baraja.

He kept goal on matchday 33 in a 4-2 loss against Barcelona, then on matchday 34 in a 0-1 defeat to Alavés. At Mestalla he went off injured after 34 minutes, with Cristian Rivero replacing him.

Domènech now moves to the other side of the game, working from the office rather than the pitch. Since leaving professional football, he has also been a DAZN commentator on Valencia matches.
