City head coach Andrée Jeglertz confirmed Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw is fit and available for selection for City's Subway Women's League Cup trip to Nottingham Forest.
The Jamaica international was forced off on 83 minutes in our 3-0 Barclays Women’s Super League triumph over Manchester United last time out after receiving medical treatment.
It came after the clinical striker scored our second of the afternoon in a pulsating performance by the Blues which raised her overall tally for the club to 97 goals.
And Jeglertz explained in his pre-match press conference that Bunny has been involved in full training leading up to the fixture with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
He said: “She’s [Bunny] been training fully this week. There hasn’t been any issues with her.”
Elsewhere, Jeglertz said in his pre-match press conference that there are no fresh injury concerns entering our final Group A fixture.
City know a victory over Nottingham Forest will guarantee passage into the quarter-finals of the competition.
For the Swede, he believes the Blues are determined to reach the last-eight and conclude November on a high.
Our head coach continued: “I think every player who was available last week are ready for this game, also.
“It looks like we have a hungry squad to get a good result in Nottingham this weekend.”

Last time out in Subway League Cup, City drew 3-3 with Newcastle before prevailing on penalties for an extra point.
Having fought from a goal down to lead by two clear goals against the Magpies, the hosts at Gateshead International Arena scored twice in the final 10 minutes to cancel out our advantage.
And Jeglertz says his side must match the high standards we’ve already set this season if we are to win on the weekend.
“We need to do a better performance than Newcastle,” he declared.
“They’re a good team [Nottingham Forest] and we played them also in a friendly before the league started in August.
“They gave us some questions and challenges. I and the players are prepared to go in with a great respect for the opponent.
“But we also know if we do the things we should do 100%, we should win the game. They have some quick forwards who are a threat in transitions for us.”
