Joao Felix ended a 14-game league drought with a brace as Al-Nassr thrashed Al-Khaleej 5-0, his first Saudi Pro League goals of 2026 with Cristiano Ronaldo still out injured.

“This comes with maturity,” he told the league's official website. “I'm not new in the game, so I know how I need to deal with those kinds of things. If I'm not scoring, it's OK. It happens. But sometimes I will shoot bad and it goes in, and sometimes I shoot good and it doesn't go in. So I just need to be calm, just to stay relaxed, because the goals will appear when I need.”

He struck the third and fourth goals, the second the pick of the bunch as he controlled Angelo's sharp pass on his right, flicked to his left and volleyed past Anthony Moris. He had supplied seven assists in his previous 10 outings before rediscovering his scoring touch.

With eight rounds remaining, Al-Nassr are top, three points clear of Al-Hilal and five ahead of Al-Ahli. The title race is a four-way scrap with Brendan Rodgers' Al-Qadsiah also seven off the lead.

Al-Nassr next host Al-Najma. Felix also delivered his 11th assist of the season to lead the league's creativity charts, and he now has 15 league goals.
