João Neves (21) has reportedly signed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain, according to Le Parisien.
Having enjoyed an exceptional first season with Les Rouge et Bleu, the Portuguese midfielder is now set to remain with PSG until 2030, extending his current contract by one year. A well-deserved reward for his outstanding performances.
Signed from SL Benfica for €65 million in the summer of 2024, Neves made a significant contribution to Paris Saint-Germain’s numerous successes in the 2024–25 season, both domestically and internationally, notably playing a key role in the club’s Champions League victory.
So much so that at just 21 years of age, the Tavira native is now considered a worldwide benchmark in his position. Ranked 19th in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings, Neves has seen his stock skyrocket in recent months, even surpassing the symbolic €100 million mark in market value.
This season, the 20-time Portuguese international (three goals) has played a total of 23 matches in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
