Joao Pedro, back in the team after missing defeats to Manchester United and Brighton through injury, says the win over Leeds will give the squad confidence to reach their objectives during their final games of the season.

Chelsea will face Manchester City in the FA Cup final on May 16 and Joao Pedro has shared an early prediction for the Wembley showpiece.

“I think it will be an exciting game, the Blues forward added. “I think both teams will come to win and hopefully we can win the final.”

Chelsea have not beaten Man City in any competition since the 2021 Champions League final, though interim head coach Calum McFarlane did oversee a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium during his first spell in charge earlier in the season.
