Chelsea legend John Terry is no longer hiding his ambition: to one day lead his beloved club.

Having played 717 matches for the Blues, John Terry remains a true Chelsea icon. But at 44, the former captain still harbors one final dream: to become the manager of the London club:

What I'm missing is being Chelsea's coach. That's my last dream. After 22 years as a player, I've learned enough to lead a team. I think I'd be a very good head coach.

Since retiring in 2018, Terry has worked as an assistant at Aston Villa before returning to Chelsea's academy. Yet, despite his experience, the former Three Lions defender has never been given a head coach position:

I've had interviews, but the answer was always: "You don't have experience." When I see who gets some jobs today, I'm surprised.
